Dennis retired as a Portfolio Manager from Allspring Global Investments, having served as the Chief Investment Officer for the firm’s Analytic Investors team for over two decades. In these roles, he focused on day-to-day portfolio management and research related to equity and factor-based investment strategies. His investment industry career began in 1990 with Analysis Group, Inc, where he was a senior consultant and provided investment consulting services for institutional investors and plan sponsors. He earned a BA in business administration and a MBA from the University of California, Riverside. He has earned the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA®) designation.

Ding is a financial economist and econometrician with over 30 years of research and investment experience. In addition to advising Distribution Cognizant on its statistical analysis and economic modeling, he is co-founder and currently Head of Research at AlphaFocus Investment Research. He has coauthored, with Clive Granger and Robert Engle, some of the most widely cited academic articles on time series modeling. Ding earned his PhD at UC San Diego.

Brigham is a product and design leader and startup veteran committed to driving positive impact. He has 20+ years of experience building and leading high-performance, highly collaborative, high-EQ, and fun design teams and has helped build and scale successful B2C, B2B, and B2B2C products across the Healthcare, Transportation, Marketing, and Internet Content industries. He has a BS in Computer Science from the University of Michigan.

Drew is a serial entrepreneur and investor with over 20 years of experience focused on both Bay Area and international venture markets. He co-founded MTS Ventures in 2014 and INSEAD Silicon Valley Angels in 2016. He has led early-stage investments in Arcadia, Knix and others. He is a pro bono advisor for Footprint Project, a non-profit providing clean energy disaster relief. Drew holds a MBA from INSEAD, a MPhil in Environment and Development from Cambridge and a BA in IR from Brown.

Julie is a freelance software engineer and cofounder of Light Year Software, where she has focuses on mobile and web app development for over a decade. Julie has over 25 years of CS experience, having previously worked as an engineer for Netflix, Scout Electromedia, Grapevine and PointCast. Julie has a BS from Miami University of Ohio.

Prior to founding Distribution Cognizant in 2021, Patrick conducted research and portfolio management for Analytic Investors. Prior to joining Analytic in 2017, he spent five years directing pricing, economic analyses, and negotiation support at Acertas for hedge fund, private equity and government clients. Patrick has published peer-reviewed articles and book chapters on economics, finance and political game theory. He holds a PhD in Economics from Claremont Graduate University and a MS in Financial Analysis from the University of San Francisco. He has earned the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA®) designation.
